Ahuna is a criminal defense and family law attorney. Ahuna earned her bachelor’s in psychology and Sociology before earning her Master’s in Psychology. She then went on to attend law school at the University of Richmond School of Law.
After completing her master’s in psychology, Ahuna spent 17 years working in the not-for-profit and government sectors, ending her time as a public servant as Deputy Director of a large social services agency. Ahuna holds multiple certifications in assessing and treating trauma, evaluating substance abuse issues, and analyzing family needs and supports. Now as a criminal defense and family law attorney, Ahuna is utilizing her extensive experience with a large social service agency and the Virginia Judicial system to diligently and zealously represent her clients. Ahuna also serves as Guardian Ad Litem for children, where her passion for children’s advocacy and familiarity with the local courts allows her to serve effectively in this vital role.
Ahuna served as a legal assistant for the Stafford Circuit Court judges and represented clients with the Public Defender’s Office.
